Yay for Presidents Day!

because it gave us a long weekend and that allowed me to finish this up.   So yay! Freedom to create.  Maybe I'll even get to finish something new... and no headache!

    Oh Karen! That's wonderful, th stocking and the sweater are really soft - great pattern on the stockings. And you've done an amazing job on the ground and the trees - very delicate, soft but also realistic - it's good stuff :)

    YAYYYY! YAY for Presidents! And YAY for headache-be-gone!!! Wow, Karen, what a fantastic background. That is beautiful mist out in the meadow. I'm fascinated as to where she's headed with those balloons. A teddy bear picnic, perhaps? :) You did a terrific job of matching the weather to her wardrobe. Hope you have a productive and massively fun weekend!

    Yay!! Karen..this is GORGEOUS! I agree with Andrew...love, love the ground and trees. You've captured such a wonderful scene and the character just pops!! I love it. Wonderful work and I'm so glad you don't have a headache anymore and that you finished this. Go with it, girl..it's awesome!

    Aaaawww! We have Monday as Weather-Make-Up day because of that silly snow coming to Texas! Argh! Not that it would affect me. My company does not celebrate it. We only have six holidays, but I am not complaining. It's just nice to lounge around in pajamas.

    Ah. As for this young woman heading towards the mist with colorful balloons, I love her boots! She is stylin'!!!

    Beautiful - I love the startling orange against the other more muted colors - kind of describes childhood for me in a weird way... sorry, I'm not very articulate about this stuff, but I love looking anyway!
