Tutorial for Linked part 1

Ok, here is part one of my tutorial as promised. Sorry it is taking me so long to finish it. I have never done one before and it is different from teaching one on one( taking screen shots and trying to write it all down and making sure I don't forget anything). So if you have questions or suggestions let me know. I'm still working on the photoshop portion. The first half is in painter, however it could all be done in photoshop using similar methods, I just prefer starting in painter.

  1. Thanks for the great tutorial! I'm always fascinated by painters, whether watercolors or oils or acrylics or digital. I've never really painted with Photoshop before. I use it primarily to clean up my stray marks. But I'd love to give this a shot one day.

    Have an excellent weekend!

  2. I love the red shoes. I would never be able to do this. Too many instructions. If I can't figure it out when I touch the keyboard, I will never get it. So I will just enjoy looking at your work! Thank you for sharing.

  8. you're my hero — I love art tutorials (thanks for sharing). Once you get a chance to try Photoshop CS5, lemme know how you think it compares to Painter (I don't really know Painter very well).

    Awesome!

  10. yeah, Justin, I am excited about CS5 it is supposed to have some painting elements that are comparable to painter. It's actually the blending element that I prefer painter for right now. I guess that most people don't go crazy with blending the way that I do though.
