IF_Shiny

Bigsby loves shiny things, but so do all the other hedgehogs.  So he tied his shiny trinkets to a balloon, which also happened to be shiny and went in search or a new home.  My grandson loves hedgehogs and one of my daughters has a pet hedgehog named Bigsby, so of course I had to paint a flying hedgehog.  I seem to have a thing for flying animals lately. ;)

  1. Oh my gosh, the tiny feet! And just the right amount of fuzzy. Love him! Tragically, I cannot read the text of the note! The tiny key and heart-shaped lock are super cute, too.

  3. Aaaahhhh! That is a cute hedgehog. He looks so happy. I don't think I have ever touched one. I have touched a porcupine but not a hedgehog. They seem cute. I like those hedgehog snow boot cleaners. I was wondering if you were creating a series of flying animals! Have a great Sunday. Tsup!

    1. thank you Ces! I've never touched one either. Maura says he feels like a stiff hairbrush, kind of. ;) Myles has never held one either. I have no idea why he is so obsessed with them. Maybe he just likes saying the name Hedgehog.

    1. Ah, yes, there are so many time consumers. I feel like I've been spending all of my time learning to make gluten free bread with no time left for art :O you'd be proud, I spent several solid hours working yesterday afternoon and evening. It was glorious! Well, I say solid, more like broken into bits, but mostly productive hours.

I've never seen a hedgehog in real life but many children want to have one as a pet here, they have become very popular. Now I can see why :)
