Gosford the gosling was determined to live out his dream of flying even if his wings weren't ready to carry him. ;) It's late and I'm off to get some rest. Have a great remainder of the week. Thanks for visiting :)
Could this be the precursor to the Wright Flyer? We visited the Wright Brothers Memorial today, and I'm certain that this guy must have been there with them, giving advice and sharing in the glory. Go Gosford!
sorry I'm still banging my head against the wall here :) :(
Oh you are back to your old form I see, just beautiful and gorgeous and funny and delightful and fun. The textures are magic, great composition we really get that feeling of weightlessness, plus we get a story throw in as well!
All we need is a recipie!
Just kidding about the recipie, just thought I'd throw in a word I can't spell :)
Oh, I adore Gosford!! I see you've been creating these cute and funny characters...well, this guy, I like! I hope he gets to fly real soon. Have a good rest, K.H. :)
Hey there Darling, This cute duck looks like he's in for some adventure for sure he he he he he! I just love the look on his little face. This is so whimsical and fun. great job. Lovely character indeed. Have a good one. V
Very nice, Karen! People who can draw, as we have the great advantage that nothing is impossible a goose can fly with a paraglider You say, and I believe you. And nobody in the world can say otherwise. Congratulations for your creative freedom
GO Gosford, GO! He's wonderful, Karen! I love the front-on perspective here...makes me feel like he's truckin' right up to us! Love the squishy feel of him, too. : ) YAY for your daughter! Congratulations on her graduation..you must be SO very proud! : ) And cool that you were in Washington too - yes, the weather was actually great (I was dreading the hot hot heat, but had a nice thunderstorm instead)...have a wonderful weekend, Karen! Hugs to you.
Hey Darling!! Hope that you and the family had a wonderful day on yesterday. Fireworks, hot dogs and all. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. You know how much they mean to me. Thanks so much! Big Hugs to get you through the week!
I absolutely ADORE this. His expression is so determined and hopeful! I am a bird fanatic and a huge champion of the underdog and I LOVE this concept. Last year I'd actually sketched out a girl tying balloons to a Canadian goose to remedy his lack of flying skills but never did anything with it. I love the patchwork detail on his parasail. Great fun.
Hey Karen. Glad I could finally comment. Don’t know what explorer or blogger are doing.... oh well. Your goose (Gosford) is a remarkable foul! He ios not only determined, but he is adorable! Love this! Wonderful work karen. Hope you caught up on some rest. God bless.
