IF_Silent

Sorry my blog has been so "silent" lately.  I haven't posted anything for IF in eons.  And I am just getting it in at the very last minute.  I mean to post more often, I just don't seem to get to it though. For those of you who don't know, my grandson is blind.  He rides his big wheel around the house.  I am grateful that it is not completely silent or else I'd have been run over multiple times already.  The wheels make just enough sound on the tile for me to know he is coming so that I can get out of the way. But it's so great that he can ride it and rarely run into anything other than me.  He has the entire living area mapped out in his head and rides around quickly, leaning his body when he turns. It's really cute, unless he runs over my foot, which has happened on occasion.  This is another illustration from the ebook/app that I am working on.  Sorry to keep this short, but I am working, working, working.  So more about the project later... Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate it! You all are the best :)

  16. Ahh Karen, great that you are working, working, working. I am very excited about this project. It should be a rip roaring success!

This is so fine, this image, so delicately balanced, the way you lead the eye, that sinusoidal curve that snakes through the composition - wil it lead to text? It looks so fine with empty space.

What does it look like back to front I wonder? You know how in some picture books we lead the reader from left to right, so they keep turning. And yet somnetimes we get a loveley space, a visual silence when we lead them the other way...

sorry about your foot (feet) :)

amazing Myles has the whole mapped in his head!

sorry to be late. I followed this rabbit (he had a fob watch) and fell down a hole....

  17. Well, you should be careful following small woodland creatures dressed as humans. You could get yourself into all kinds of trouble that way ;) Thank you so much for the very generous comment. You are such a lovely friend Mr.Finnie!
