IF_Perspective

This is my entry for Illustration Friday's Prompt Perspective.  My internet and cable have been out all week so I just played around with it. It's my dog Roni, here she looks more like a lab but she is a mixed breed. Pit bull and something.  I may to back and add some texture to the cat.  I was thinking of the " a dog who will worship him and a cat that will ignore him" part of the quote, with a little bit of funky point of view thrown in. I was kind of bored and even made an animated version. Maybe I'll post it too even though it is just very silly. Thank you so much for visiting and for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it and love seeing what you have to say!

  1. Great physical perspective Karen - they are so cute! I love seeing dogs and cats together, so harmonious. I also love all the textures you rendered, the floor, wallpaper, tassels - so well done! Glad you have your tech back, we're so dependent on this stuff it's scary.

  5. Karen, this almost looks ... photographic! I know that may not be the point, but at first glance, I thought: "oh, is this a photoshop composite?" (then I enlarged the painting and looked at all your beautiful work in detail!).

Do cats and dogs share the same perspective when they live together, or forever apart?

    Nice job!

  6. thanks Justin! I doubt they share the same perspective any more than children do with their parents, but I guess we'd have to spend a day in their "shoes" to know for sure

  11. Hi Karen, just stopping by to thank you for your (and your sister's) wonderful advice about the conference. I had a gut feeling that I need to bring 4 x 6 cards in addition to the biz cards, I so appreciate the feedback! Be back again soon - have a great weekend!

  12. Hi Karen, thanks for the visit and comment! This is a really good example of perspective. Especially the they way Roni looks as though she's leaning out so we can give her a little pat! :)
