IF_Swept

Swept away on a wave :) I saw a 3D frog in an inner-tube on a summer flier and just had to put something like him on a wave.  You know one of those that looks like a bendable rubber toy. It was strangely cute. This one is supposed to be a turtle (Ha, my son says he looks like Voldemort from Harry Potter. So, maybe not so cute after all. ) I should have added one surfing too.  Just some fun with the newest version of painter. Wow, it crashes a lot! Hopefully they will get that fixed. When it is working right, it is a good bit faster, when it's not, it's a booger :(    Anyway, I'm thinking I may end up keeping the older versions to use too.

  2. yeah, it's kind of irritating, especially when you forget to save "constantly"

  3. Hokusai meets Ninja Turtle :) Wonderful imae Karen, the wave is so soft, feels like it would caress you. And the turtle is having so much fun!

  4. Heh, no problem! The turtle doesn't know he/she is about to go 'over the falls' as we call it.

Still no luck with the weather, last night the wind was 55km here! One of my screen doors blew off!

I am happy we still have our roof.

    Arrrrgh :)

  5. Hi Karen! I love all the swirligigs! Such lovely flow! I guess I haven't used my Painter enough to know about the crashing! :) I'm thinking I might experiment this week, so I'll heed your advice!

  6. Andrew, that stinks! I'll be praying for nice weather ;)
Krista, thanks the swirligigs were fun, good luck with painter, 11 crashes more than 10 and 12 seems to crash at least once every time I use it.

  10. Catch a wave and you're sittin' on top of the world! Awww, he's adorable! And the wave is so pretty with all those swirly drippy drops at the end. I just saw a video about a female turtle who lost both back flippers to shark bites. I bet she could have used an inner tube like this one. :)

  15. It reminded me of Hokusai too but it doesn't look scary like the great wave, at least not for the turtle :)

  17. I thought I left a comment the other day too. Now I'm wondering if I actually left it or if something is eating comments. I'm guessing either is possible. Anyway... I love the colors in your sky and the wave action. Anything with a happy frog is good too!

  19. Hey look Ma! I'm hanging 10 or in this cute and adorable little guy I'm hanging 3 or 4. I don't know how many fingers or toes a turtle has. This is so CUTEEEEEEEE! How are you my darling? I hope that you are staying out of all this summer heat and having some sweet tea or something ice cold water. I am still getting settled here in North Carolina and I have to say.... "I LOVE IT HERE!!!" Oh my goodness I wonder why on earth my husband and I didn't do this sooner. It's totally amazing and wonderful.
It's hot as heck, but I could use a little of that right now. Thanks so much for stopping by and bring me some sunshine. I so appreciate you doing so. You made my day.
Take care and I will be coming around again.
