Here is the final version, unless I change my mind and keep playing with it anyway. Right now I am really pleased with it, but I may wake up tomorrow and feel differently. Thanks for visiting and for all your supportive and kind comments!

  2. Lol, "what's the point?" Oh I hate comments like that, and I've heard similar with my own work, you should really be proud of this piece. The 'point' is that it speaks volumes about childhood with a very unique perspective.

  3. Thanks Paige, I appreciate the support, you too Susan. I think sometimes people who aren't creative just don't get it. Don't get me wrong, he is supportive in his own way. He just doesn't really understand and says well if it's not for a job or for something that someone would want to buy then why do it. It makes me happy and I really enjoy it, so thats why I do it. Paying jobs are wonderful and selling my book would be really fabulous, but I also just like to create.

  4. What's the point?

Hmmm, I think you have captured a moment in childhood where discovery and innocence went hand in hand. This is a beautiful work, I think it says a lot to those who can relate to it. It's delicate yet has great movement and subtle contrasts as I said on MAD.

We all relate to different things. I relate to this work.

  6. Stunning! The kids thought it was a photograph. We had these trains and this brings back wonderful memories-- my son, Asher is a train fanatic!
